You probably already monitor discussions and mentions about brands, important subjects and campaigns in social media with the Retriever Pulse tool. As of today we are providing you with the opportunity to go back in time and do historical searches with large volumes of posts!
We have gathered millions upon millions of posts from Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Vimeo and Disqus, in a unique and wide-ranging archive.
How it works
The volume of posts that you will gain access to, are aggregated by all social media searches that are performed in our total monitoring of social media. This means we have access to all relevant data and posts that we ourselves have collected at some point in time. From platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Vimeo and Disqus we have gathered all search results since April 2017.
Here are the number of posts in the Social Media Archive for each platform, by the millions:
What is included in the Archive
All data and posts aggregated from our social media searches are included. This means the amount of historic data gives you a unique opportunity to do speedy research on the impact of different subjects or discussions in social media, on most of the important platforms. The results are visualized in comprehensive charts and diagrams, and you can also choose to see each and every post, one by one.
While the archive has a striking 587 million posts, including large selections of industries, businesses, and organizations, as well as brands, products, topics, political entities and hashtags, it is still limited. For example, there is no physical way of including everything from Facebook or YouTube, and we can only include what is relevant to our searches, not everything on Facebook in its entirety.
Due to our vast base of searches and historical data collection – gathered over time – Retriever are happy to be able to offer you this incredible archive, that will give you the most complete historical picture possible, in the field of Social Media Monitoring.
